Sardinia

Sardinia
Large and remote island some 250 kilometers west of the Italian coastline.

Sardinia (Italian: Sardegna) is the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea (after Sicily). Sardinia is part of Italy, with a special statute of regional autonomy under the Italian Constitution. One of the medieval towns in Sardinia, Alghero, is a beautiful tourist destination, and there are other towns in Sardinia perfect for wedding and honeymoon. It is best known for its beautiful beaches, very good food at reasonable prices, and its catalan origin, in fact it was known in the past as little Barcelona.
